We've loved every minute of our journey and continue to learn and grow
From a young age I have had a passion for all things flower related. At the age of 13 I began working in a local florist shop and my passion just grew. With my managers support I went from a Saturday girl to fully trained florist and became the manager. I love every aspect of my job, what other job can you do where 99% of it is about making someone else happy.
Out On My Own
When my manager decided to retire I jumped at the opportunity to take over running the busy little shop. After several happy years I decided to take a break from the long hours to concentrate on raising my growing family.
But I missed the hustle and bustle
So having moved to Christchurch in Dorset, surrounded by beautiful countryside and beaches. I got itchy feet and decided now my children were older the time was right to look at going back to what I loved. So I decided to take the scary step of working from a studio in my garden. I have never looked back, although there are times I miss the craziness of the shop, I love having a better balanced home/work life. For me nothing beats that smile on what can be the happiest or hardest day of their lives. I love my job and could never see myself doing anything else, but I continue to learn new techniques after all we never know everything, so I love to expand my mind
